Is there an etiquette rule about Baptisms?

When we baptized our son, I myself, went to the restaurant and arranged with the Chef a Prefix menu, that my hubby and me paid for. We hosted it and invited the people to church and then, we all caught up in the restaurant. To arrange a menu before hand, safes time and hustle in the kitchen of the restaurant. We didn't sent out invitations and since we were only 15 people, I sent an email or informed everyone on the phone.Everyone attended.
