Looking for old fashioned coffee cake/crumb cake recipe like Grandma used to make.?

This recipe had just a few ingredients, made in a layer cake pan w/ crumb topping. Not very sweet, but just right w/coffee or tea. Very quick to make with things most people have on hand. the recipe was in a very old cookbook, but can't remember the name.
