What can i substitute for amaretto syrup?

I am making an almond and carrot cake and the syrup ontop of it is suppossed to be amaretto syrup but I don't have that at home. I don't have time to go to the shops so is their any other syrup or topping I can use instead of it? Something easier to put together and I don't want any substitutes like almond extract cause i don't have that either...something most people would have in their pantry :)
