A question for fathers?

im not a dad but at school i do sociology and we were told of a school in america that has this 'donuts for dads' scheme where some dads at the school come together with some teachers to eat donuts and discuss how they can get involved with their kids (especially boys's) education they have fun and learn how to encourage their kids
