Can you split Directv signal to a DVR?

OK- here is the deal. I'm running Directv cables under my new house. The former owners used cable, and the have a hole drilled in the floor for each room I want to put tv in. However, the hole is perfectly drilled for the size one just one cable. Is it possible to run one cable back to the dish (i have the 3 lnb dish with the built in 4-way switch) and use something like this a href="http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103928&cp=&sr=1&origkw=satellite+splitter&kw=satellite+splitter&parentPage=search" rel="nofollow"http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.…/a to split that one cable into both of my inputs on the back of my dvr?
