How do you calm a dog enough to be able to clean its ears?

My dog needs his ears cleaning, and I know how to do it since I did a Dog Grooming module at college, but he is very snappy when it comes to things like that. I need to treat his hot-spots too but he gets snappy again... I need to know how to relax him enough to be able to help him. I have tried muzzles, (and need to replace his fabric one with a basket muzzle,) but even if he has a muzzle on he still wriggles a lot.

I was driving along, and when I got to an intersection the light turned yellow. We are very intuitive. Knowing the language is the key. Mind/logic will argue with intuition. But, intuition is never wrong. So, yes, we can and do over yze most everything. Critical thinking is necessary as well as ysis. Intuition doesn't always speak, or we don't always hear it. When we don't, then we go with logic and reasoning. Works for me every time.

hi i honestly do not know what u mean by scooting, but as for the glands my cat has had this done a few times, but i can ure u it should last at least 6 months ,before needing done again, it helps if you can keep the cat from getting constipated, ;however my vet usually says to me, his glands where quite bad , and they should be ok now,; but he adds; if they are still bothering him bring him back; and i can do it a bit more, so yes sometimes u do have to go back , but most vets expect this, it is not they have filled up again more a needing a more thorough treatment the first time so take vet back and explain to vetss, he will understand it is just the same sometimes us humans has to go back to doctors good luck

Can I sue my landlord?

I leased the property for 2 years only 2 find out the house had mold growing throw out the house. The bathroom floor fell in and only onside of electrical worked. How do i learn to accept myself for me?

I'm asking for your advice, this may seem really boring or irrelavent to some but it's a big issue for me. I was always a chubby child and got spotty as a teenager, although i was confident enough to laugh any comments off. I'm now 26 and although people compliment me on my appearance and figure, i cant seem to believe them, i think they must be joking or something. The carb is probably responding to the increased load on the carb from the air conditioning. Try having the idle turned up just a hair. The drag from the compressor may be pulling it down enough to negatively affect the vacuum making it surge trying to maintain the correct idle. Good luck!!

The thermal switch turns on the EGR when it is cold. It has to do with the timing and air fuel ratio. Because an engine takes in more fuel and air when it is cold you can advance the timing with out detination. You also need more fuel to keep a proper air/fuel ratio since cold air is denser. If you can get rid of the thermal switch, vacuum advance, the TVS and the EGR and get a non-advancing distrbutor for it and set the timing and air/fuel ratios right from the beginning then your problems should go away. You can get an A/F.R gauge at say Advance Auto Parts to set the ratio. Set your timing first then keep switchig between them until your stoic AFR is 12.5:1 or so and you have no pre-detination or delayed knock.

Guitar Problems? (E-string)?

Well, my grandma let me borrow her acoustic guitar a couple weeks ago. It sounded awesome, until one day I picked it up and noticed that if I played the top E on the first, second or third fret it buzzed really bad.Other from that, it sounded great. I spent hours removing the strings, trying to see what was wrong, but it's nothing wrong with the bridge. Under the bridge there was a tiny little sliver of wood to raise the top E so it WOULDN'T buzz. When we tried to add any more wood or things to any other part of the bridge it would be catastrophic, so much that in the end it actually buzzed the least and sounded the best before we tried to fix it, when it was only the three frets on E it buzzed. Any suggestions?

Okay so I had a blighted ovum back in September. I had my DNC on September 12. I got my first period 24 days later on October 6th. Today is day 29 of my cycle. Still no period but I took a test yesterday morning and it was negative. My Modern Warfare 2 disc is messed up...?

Ever since I was little the doctors had diagnosed me with ADD and Dyslexia. To try and help me they put me on Adderal from the ADD and the Dyslexia was never truly cured, I just found ways to work with it. When I was in 8th grade I stopped taking the Adderal and all trough high school make grades were horrible. In the last six months of high school, I decided to go back on the meds and my average GPA went from a 1.7-2.0 to a 3.5-3.7. Now I’m in college and I want to pursue a career in medicine, but every time I take my medication I feel that I am only weakening myself. If someone can get into a good college without medication they don’t need the medicine, but I do. So I’m not really able to deal with it like the person w/out the medication, because they can do it naturally, and I feel like I’m doomed to relying on a pill or being a failure.

ok I have a laptop (Vista) and a PC (XP) i wanted to go wireless so went to Wal-Mart and got a Linksys Router and the guy told me that if my PC didn't go wireless I had to buy a Wireless-G USB Network Adaptor in order for it to get signal from the router, so i bought this and the router, I installed the USB network adapter and this network window came on and I clicked the Connect on... and now i have Internet but the router & my DSL modem are not even conncted or on.. so where am I getting Internet from? am I stealing signal from some other router cuz I connected to an unsecured network?? On my car, I have to press on the brake pedal AND push a on on the floor shift lever to get it out of park. Some cars, only the brake pedal needs to be pressed. Sounds like your car was modified to byp the shift lock.. You can find out by going slowly (< 3 mph) and shift into reverse to see what happens. No damage at that slow speed.

It sounds like a really complicated plot so it was hard to understand, i think it'll work better once you've turned it into a story, though by the sounds of it was good and would be something i would read. My first piece of advice is to make it a bit more simple, or at least when your writing the story make it easy to understand what's going on. It has been on ongoing battle with my girlfriend who has dumped me about three times because she says she can't deal with the odors I carry. She has stated that she is highly sensitive to fragrances, like what they put in shampoos and laundry detergents, and especially air fresheners. ok, so i'm a freshman. I came from the smallest of the main feeder schools. I know many kids from other schools that came into my high school, but not everyone. Since like day one, I've had a feeling that this one girl may kinda like me. She was a bit too nice, and she smiled at me a few times. But I thought she was just being friendly. I didn't really react. Then, i noticed that she really is kinda shy whenever I'm around. We're both in honors algebra and health, and i've seen her talking to her friends very openly and happily. But whenever I'm around, whenever that happens, that's usually when we just p each other in the halls, she would kinda smile and walk past. Before, she would kinda blush and look down and p by. Back then, I didn't really notice her much because I didn't know her. Then, after a while, I realized that I kinda like her because she's really nice, smart, well-mannered, and a good person all-around. I'm not meaning to brag, but I'm kinda the same. However, after a few months, I started to realize that she either doesn't like me anymore or she never did, because I started to look at her across the cl more often, and she rarely ever made an look at me or anything. We didn't really ever p each other in the halls, and we never had an honest conversation. The only time we ever talked before was when somehow one of those backpack buckles or ropes wutever u call it got stuck to my desk when she ped by.. It 's kinda weird to describe how it happened. it just sounds stupid describing it as some buckle. So I umed she didn't like me. However, at our school's open house, I was there as part of the school newspaper interviewing clubs and students. She was part of the swim team. I started talking to a female friend on the swim team, and the girl that i like started to giggle to one of her friends, and then rushed over to get into the conversation. She seemed a little fastidious in responding but then kinda eased off. You know how when you get nervous about something but you keep your cool by trying to talk all suave? Well, that's kinda how it was. We spoke for about 5 minutes. I should've stayed longer, but I left to go interview the baseball team. The next day, we didn't talk, but I think she was trying to get me to start a conversation because we had gym that day (health and gym rotate every day) and when we were out of the locker rooms waiting in this little commence area for the bell, she was talking to a friend and i was talking to some friends, and i noticed she was kinda looking over at us. She even put her jacket beside where I put my hoodie, probably so when i get it, we would be beside each other. Honestly, I might be thinking that she doesn't like me. Maybe she's just really nice and well-mannered. But whatever it is, I think there's potential that she might like me. I'm not really that hot nor am I really a GENIUS, so I don't know why she would like me. But if she does, I have no idea how i can talk to her more. We're not in any of the same classes. And we have assigned seats in math and health. And gym kinda seems awkward to just random approach her and start talking to her. How do I deal with the eerie stare?

There is this woman who has a strange stare. I don't like to look at her and just avoid eye contact. She's an odd person because no one really stares like she does. It's like almost evil look and obvious. Her head turns almost eerily as you walk by. If you walk by she'll look like she wants you to know she's looking at you or something. She used to smile sometimes, but I think it was only when she was feeling good, then she'd ignore me and stare weirdly. Anyways to get better, you may want to practice running on your own time. Just try to walk and run. Build up your strength and endurance. Otherwise aside from that see if your instructor would allow you to listen to some music while running. That really makes running easier.

After a little bit of reading, I get the idea, that archery got first developed as a successful type of combat in Eastern countries, along with Hungary and Crete. There it got perfected and was a part of the peoples' culture. Roman armies didn't train archer units, because they were comfortable with their current military tactics, which were quite successful. But as their empire grew bigger, they took over many of the arcer nations, so they began using batallions of archers together with their usual armies. Archers were, however, never really their thing, they never were a part of Roman culture and Romans just didn't have high regards for it.

The film is shot in the Seychelles and the island imagery is breathtaking. But the soundtrack is beautiful and haunting. It's a slow, pensive, ethereal harp leading a full orchestra in an airy unearthly adagio with an oboe in the background hovering enigmatically above it all. I'm not seriously into clical music but this is exceptional. It's a mystery why such an amazing score was not widely distributed. It could've easily won a grammy.

Yes, we`re not allowed to change any of our body parts except if it causes an extreme pain or death, infected by disease or severely damaged. Circision is a necessity because it prevents any plague that can infect our private part and besides that, it`s about cleanliness because we don`t want any hadas(urine etc)on our body parts while we`re praying. after a CT scan. Went in for his 2 month check up expecting to just get vaccines and be on our merry way only to find out his anterior fontanel is closed, which is why the CT was ordered. My son screams most of the time when awake and occasional during his sleep despite using colic tablets and gripe water. He vomits almost continuously despite being on first Zantac then Prevacid 7.5mg twice a day, 9 different formulas (last 1 was Nutramigen, now on Alimentum due to milk, lactose, and soy intolerance-has atopic dermatitis now d/t allergies), thickening with rice cereal per our Pediatrician's recommendation, and keeping him at least a 45* angle at all times, except during diaper changes and tummy-time. Barium swallow study showed no immediate reflux or obstructions. Pediatrician now thinks this may be due to the premature closure of the lambdoid sutures. Have appt with neurosurgeon on Nov 24th - just wondering what to expect and if surgery is usually necessary and if your child screamed and vomited all the time. ANY TIPS OR SUGGESTIONS??? (From what I've researched, it's very rare for this particular suture to close prematurely.)

Is weighted Stretching safe and okay?

Its nothing drastic, just a light plastic curl bar, (doesn't weigh even a pounds, with two 10lbs on each side. No challenge at all, I can throw it in the air atleast 5ft and catch it with out struggle. I was wanting to know if this is safe to use, like a lat bar to stretch my back and shoulders. We had this problem and my daughter did use a chain. She ped through the rings and wound once around the noseband. The point is to help the horse see that you do have some power over her. She is a 1,000 lb. animal and can do considerable harm to you or anyone else around you if you do not have proper control. You do not need to continue to use a chain and you do not need to be harsh. Simply use it until she understands you are not going to put up with dominant behavior out of her. Once she understands, you can go back to a normal halter or a training halter. If she starts barging again, try the chain. You do not want to be walked over or dragged. Work with her. After you have her under control with that, try some groundwork in trick-training. This engages the horse in a way that they are not used to and they truly enjoy it. There are books on this and it is a lot of fun and useful to change the horse's attitude and you have fun with her, too. You will need to use patience with trick-training because it uses little steps to teach each trick.

Is it legal for a bank teller to check friend's accounts without reason?

My friend is a bank teller and she had an off putting habit of checking my accounts for no reason. She would watch it and call me if I had overdrafted, which I admit was nice I guess, but still a little weird that she would be checking it without me asking. Given her nosey nature, I'm pretty sure she checks the accounts of other people she knows as well. Is this legal or ethical? To abuse the power to be able to spy on people's financial situation and spending habits? I have since changed banks for that reason (among others), but I was curious about this. You might still be able to beat the elite 4 with this team, but it really sucks for competitive play, you have too many offensive moves with no real purpose to your pokemon's moveset or stats. For exemple, urance on donphan is dumb because donphan is so slow that it couldn't hit right after the foe takes damage for more power. I suggest you check out smogon.com for better movesets if you wish to start playing online vs people(also having good movesets will help for the battle frontier, I think you will need some competitive pokemon knowledge to suceed in it).

When I was 15-16 & still in school & had school friends, mind you I at that age was a firm believer in the truth as the correct and only true religion. I didn't get along with my dad very well, it was a teenage thing, feeling my oats so to speak. Anyway I moved back home & went back to school. I met allot of kids that to me were nice & I considered them good friends, I talked the truth with them, they thought my beliefs were neat and a little weird, but liked me all the same. I started hanging with these kids at school, then at the roller skating rink, then bowling alley. My dad who I was still having issues with set me down and read me 1 Co 15:33, which I'm sure you have done with your daughter. I told my dad that these kids were good kids, they show respect to their parents, and agreed with some of our teachings, besides I wasn't going to be doing anything different than what we did when we hung around at school. I'm here to tell you that the Bible is inspired, it was written by the means of Holy Spirit. 1 Co 15:33 is very accurate, I never have stopped believing in Jehovah, but I smoked cigs & pot, even a little more into drugs than that, started swearing, and before I knew it I was partying like the best of them, just having a good time as the world of man says. I was very sad at were I was, I never gave up believing in Jehovah, but by my actions you would never know it, I was now on the opposite side of 1 Co 15:33, I was the bad ociation, and whenever I was around Witnesses I felt it, it drove me away from the truth while I still believed it was the truth. I longed for Armageddon, so I could be put out of my misery, I was smoking & I won't go into all what I was doing, I slept around, I married a none believer, I talked to her about the truth, she was favorable, then she became pregnant, our first baby, she miscarried, for awhile I blamed myself, but I thank my knowledge of the Bible, if not I would of blamed God for this. We got pregnant again, a beautiful baby girl, boy did I go through some mental anguish, it was alright for me to lose my life at Armageddon, I wasn't worth anything anyway, but now there was this beautiful baby, I started my way back, let me tell you it took YEARS, I had another baby girl, my wife got baptized, my life serving Jehovah was a roller coaster, I just couldn't get back , I'd do good, then slip back, do a little good, then slip way back, then do really good, then slip back. I even got baptized again, that didn't work either, I was still on the same roller coaster, so I gave my two girls to Jehovah in prayer, I knew he would take good care of them. My wife & I were divorced, I got married again 3 days after my first divorce was final, I talked the truth to her, she also was baptized. My life was still up & down until I read 1 Peter 3:21, I had read this verse before, but this time for some reason I read it different, It's Jehovah that gives one a clear conscience. 40 years it took me to finally be in good standing with my creator. I won't recommend the ride to anyone, treasure a good standing with Jehovah, and don't under estimate Satan, he is the master bird catcher, and remember it's not those kids that will cause you harm it's Satan!
